Arquilla is one of Australia's most
respected suppliers of international and exclusive wines, spirits and
beers. Its reputation with producers, restaurants and retailers alike is
based on quality, knowledge, passion and personal service.
We were very interested to hear about a worthwhile project being run by the Argiolas family.
The Argiolas Iselis label of white and red wines will be arriving later in 2010 – the white wine will be available from August and the red wine at the end of November.
And there are many reasons, other than its fine taste, to support this range of wines – the philanthropic family has decided to link the Iselis label to a different charitable project each year, with proceeds assisting a range of meaningful fundraising initiatives around the world.
The inaugural mission is the Project for Lutendele, a campaign supporting a community in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central Africa.
With Argiolas’ assistance, a medical clinic is building built in Lutendele, a town based 25kms from the capital, Kinshasa. With the country’s shocking life expectancy – 49 years for men and 52 years for women – and poor levels of sanitation, it is certainly a project worth supporting.
