Re Manfredi Aglianico del Vulture doc, the company's representative wine, comes from a 52-hectare vineyard located at 420 m a.s.l. in land of volcanic origin in the Commune of Venosa. Distinguished by an exceptional personality it is a powerful well-balanced wine with an elegant and warm spicy underglow and a creamy finish.

Colour
The colour is an intense deep ruby.
Nose
The bouquet is ample, with dominant notes of bitter cherry, candied fruit, aromatic herbs and distant hints of vanilla and thyme.
Palate
The flavour has an exceptional powerful and imperious personality, with warm elegant undertones of spices and cream. This is a wine with marked minerality and flavour, characteristics that give it extraordinary balance and drinkability.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Site
30 hectares of vineyards, established for twenty years.
Vinification
The bunches comprising 100% Aglianico were harvested starting during the first ten
days of October. Pre-fermentative maceration at 5°C for 10 days was
followed by alcoholic fermentation for 7-10 days at a temperature of 22°C.
Ageing
The wine is put into barriques for 10-12 months, depending on the age of
the wood, after malolactic fermentation.
