Founder Umberto Cavicchioli was already cultivating and selling his own grapes before he decided to transform his workshop into a cellar and begin prodcing his own wine. This excellent wine is still produced today and although the techniques now used are a far cry from those of the past, the character of the Lambrusco has remained unchanged.
