Since taking over Conte Loredan Gasparini in 1973, owner Giancarlo Palla has imbued the winery with his deep respect for the bond between the wine variety and the region. Seeking always to enhance this bond, Palla has grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec in his quest to produce high quality wines. The company's signature wine, the famous Capo di Stato, has been accorded legend status by the French publication 100 vins de legende.
