Here is Ralph’s impression of the wine:
I was recently taken to task for disparaging remarks I had made about Italian white wines made from vermentino. So in the spirit of inquiry, I tasted a few from sunny Sardinia. This bright-yellow wine has quite complex citrus, wax and honeycomb aromas. This palate is smooth and rich, with good body and a long savoury finish. It proves that interesting, pleasant Vermentino does exist.
