Cantina Santa Maria La Palma is a historic cooperative winery in Alghero, Sardinia, founded in 1959 by 100 local farmers who transformed the Nurra area into a thriving viticultural hub. Today, over 300 members cultivate 700 hectares of vineyards, making it one of Sardinia’s leading wine producers.
The winery specializes in native Sardinian grapes such as Vermentino, Cannonau, Cagnulari, and Monica, with renowned labels including Akènta (a sparkling wine aged underwater), Aragosta Vermentino di Sardegna DOC, and Le Bombarde Cannonau di Sardegna.
