Carpano
Vermouth Antica Formula
Back in 1786, Benedetto Carpano created Antica Formula, thus starting the production of an entire new category of alcoholic drinks: the vermouth.
Carpano Antica Formula is the Italian vermouth par excellence, actually the first vermouth ever, made from white wine, Piedmont's muscatel and the rich wines from southern Italy.Perfect to drink cold as an aperitif or after a meal, Carpano Antica Formula can also be used as an ingredient in refined cocktails, adding a special touch in new versions of great classics such as the renowned Negroni or the Americano. Among the latest creations there is the "Prince of Wales" cocktail, one of the most popular drinks in the prestigious Rivoli lounge bar at London's Ritz hotel.
Carpano Antica Formula is produced in limited amounts and sold in valuable blown-glass bottles. Topped by a cork, the bottled come protected in refined packages. The label is a replica of the 1786 original.
