Made from a variety of Piedmontese grape comprised of a cross of Chatus (Nebbiolo Dronfield) with Barbera, the Albarossa pairs well with charcuterie, boiled meat, stews, roasts, and ripe cheeses. Also suitable for dishes of red meat and herbs, the fruity blend also pairs surprisingly well with all varieties of fish cooked with tomatoes, fried in batter or baked. Best enjoyed after ageing in medium-sized glasses.
