This Chianti Superiore is the result of a careful selection in Burchino vineyard, inside Colline Pisane production area, of the best Sangiovese grapes together with a small portion of an autochthon grape, Ciliegiolo.

Colour
Intense ruby red.
Nose
Characteristic bouquet with plenty of cherry, leather and cedars flavours.
Palate
The round mouthful with notes of liquorice and tar is wrapped around ripe almost candied fruit.

12-14 degrees
Food Pairing
Ideal with steaks and grilled meats, perfect with mature cheeses. Serve at room temperature.
TECHNICAL NOTES
Vinification
A prolonged maceration with the skins gives to the wines complex aromas and a fruity scent.
Ageing
The ageing takes place for over a year in traditional Slavonian oak casks. The wine is refined in bottle for a further period.
