Santa Sofia is a historic winery in Pedemonte, at the heart of Valpolicella Classico in Veneto. Founded in 1811 and owned by the Begnoni family since the 1960s, the estate is housed in the magnificent Villa Santa Sofia—a 16th-century masterpiece designed by Andrea Palladio and now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
With centuries of winemaking tradition, Santa Sofia crafts elegant wines that express the richness of Valpolicella’s terroir. Its range includes prestigious reds such as Amarone della Valpolicella and Valpolicella Superiore Montegradella, alongside refined whites like Custoza, Lugana, and Soave.
