Poggio al Lupo is a prestigious wine estate in Tuscany’s Maremma region, owned by renowned Italian entrepreneur Antonio Moretti (also of Tenuta Sette Ponti and Podere Orma). Its 35 hectares of south-facing vineyards, set on clay and gravel soils, yield expressive, full-bodied wines that capture the strength and elegance of the local terroir.
The estate’s signature Poggio al Lupo IGT is a Super Tuscan blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante, and Petit Verdot—crafted through hand-harvesting, extended maceration, and aging in new French oak. The result is an intense, ruby-hued wine with layered aromas of dark fruit, cedar, and chocolate, and a long, velvety finish. Poggio al Lupo also produces Morellino di Scansano DOCG and Vermentino, each reflecting the estate’s commitment to quality and character.
